It is always fun to meet with a couple for the first time. Dayloni and Markus were hilarious and fun to interact with. We are looking forward to their February wedding!

Big Changes for 2010

In 2010 there will be a lot of changes to Legacy Design Photography. The first BIG change is our name. Let me start off by saying I have NEVER liked the name Legacy Digital Design and Photography (which is what we started with). It was a mouth full. So, we shortened it to Legacy Design Photography and I still don't like it because it just isn't "us". Now, we have changed the name to Emily & Nate Photographers. Much more "us", huh?

Baby Bo

Audrey and Dustin welcome baby Bo into their family. You probably remember this little cutie from a few weeks ago. Audrey let me pick whatever pictures I wanted and just design it however. It made it a lot of fun for me! As you can see, though, I had a little trouble narrowing down which pictures to use because Bo is so cute.

Mommy & ME

These two are just beautiful. It was so easy to take their pictures, seriously. With a five-year-old it can get a little tricky sometimes to keep their interest long enough, but everything went so quick!

I hope I get to do more of these mommy & me sessions in the future. LOVED it!!!

Knowles Family

I had a blast with this family! Some of you that have little boys know...sometimes we pull out the fart machine when the smiles start to get stale. I don't tell them it is fart machine at first either. It pretty much cracks me up. (disclaimer: sometimes crude humor makes me laugh) Lucky for me, this family also found it funny. It would be pretty awkward if they didn't, right?!

It always makes me laugh when the kids will automatically blame it on their dad, and it makes me laugh even HARDER when they blame it on their mom. Anyway, back to the point; this family was awesome and fun to photograph. It was freezing and they were really good sports about it.

One Beautiful Baby!

This beautiful little boy came a little early and was TINY! He was under six pounds. None of my babies have been that small. He was so good and so cute! Well, see for yourself...

More Cannon Family

You probably remember this family from last month. These are some studio shots we did with the family! Just adorable!

Nate and I tried taking a picture like this as a family and Jaycie sat on my back and started yanking my hair. Some kids are so well behaved...not mine...but some kids.

We had to bust out the bubbles to get her to smile for us. She loved them, but was no longer interested in looking at the camera.

December Special

First off I have to say "Thank You" to everyone that follows and reads my blog. It isn't always easy finding the time to post stuff and it is good to know that the effort is not wasted. Secondly, I am sad to say that we are not taking anymore sessions for the month of December. November has been crazy busy for us (which we are so grateful for) but it is time for me to take a break and focus on getting ready for Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas....here is a great gift idea for the in-laws or your own parents:
okay, the picture is small, but you get the idea. This is a super cute picture ornament, that has a silver frame around it. They are $15 a piece and must be ordered before the 15th of December if you want it before Christmas. I love this idea because it is relatively inexpensive and you know that they will actually use it at least once a year ;)!

Everywhere I look there seems to be a push for homemade or sentimental gifts because of the recession. Not everyone love homemade gifts, but I love the idea! I am excited to see what everyone comes up with.

Any of you who are not blind can see that this is one CUTE couple! They are so comfortable with each other too. It is like watching a couple that has been married for awhile. It was fun to be able to capture some of the love.
These two were some of my favorite that I have EVER taken. They are both just hot pictures and I LOVE that.

Who agrees that Maylyn is gorgeous! She has the prettiest eyes!

It was really funny to me when Maylyn told Dallon, "We are not just going to make-out back here!" It made me laugh.
