Our New Blogsite!!!

Hello! We are so happy to announce the completion of our BRAND NEW BLOGSITE. Can you tell I am excited?!

This conversion to our new name and blogsite, has been in the works since the end of last year. If you haven't visited our blog recently, we have officially changed our name to Emily & Nate Photographers. You all know how much of a mouthful Legacy Digital Design and Photography was! And don't even get me started on trying to give people our blog address. Our new site is www.emilyandnate.net. So much easier, right?! So be sure to add our new site to your favorites list and keep up with what is happening with Emily & Nate Photographers!!! And you can also check us out on Facebook.

We are so excited about these new changes and look forward to the year ahead!

Dayloni + Markus - Salt Lake Wedding Photographers

Dayloni and Markus were married in the Salt Lake Temple, UT on February 20th, 2010. Woot! Woot! You can tell from the picture above that they were excited to FINALLY be married!

Dayloni Pre-Bridals - Idaho Falls Photographers

Dayloni and Markus are getting married next weekend and I just have to say that Markus has a lot to look forward to. We took her pre-bridals today and she look AMAZING! She has the cutest style and was rockin' her dress! Here is a sneak peek.

I have been such a slacker about posting. However, we are very close to launching our new blogsite and all of our awesome new marketing material. We are so excited for the year ahead!

Addison is one spunky little girl. She was not loving the camera, but after we got some of her cousins to make her laugh, she had a much better time. She has the cutest smile!


The Thurman's got together one more time to get some pictures of just the kids together. We grab another family shot while everyone was dressed up for the occasion.

Maylyn + Dallon Wedding

Hi all! We just got back from Maylyn and Dallon's wedding. It was beautiful! The ceremony was amazing and the officiant did a great job. It was also really touching to see Dallon's grandfather there. He was the best man, but after falling and injuring himself pretty badly they weren't sure if he would be able to make it. He was released from the hospital in just enough time! It was one of those moments that reminds me why I LOVE my job so much.

Congratulations Maylyn and Dallon! I could see how much you care about each other. I hope you never forget how special this day was.

Hi, my name is Emily and I'm a workaholic

It is 10:10pm and I am looking for something to do...

For the past two months we have been busy. Okay, busy may be an understatement. It has been really hard to stay on top of everything and I have lost a lot of sleep trying to keep up. Now, many of you know that I am not just a photographer, but a mom of three ACTIVE little girls (one of which just barely started sleeping through the night). So it has been interesting trying to balance everything. Today, something really strange happened...I got completely caught up. I have no editing to do, no orders to make, no emails to write, nothing! It feels, well...weird.

I think I may be a workaholic.

I have been working non-stop since the end of November and now I don't know what to do with myself. I think I may go to bed BEFORE midnight tonight! I know this moment is short lived since we have a wedding AND family photo shoot on Saturday so I should be living it up...but I think I will post some of my favorite shots that I found yesterday while getting pictures ready for our new site instead. Oops! I let the cat out of the bag early. Keep checking back for the big reveal, but in the meantime enjoy:

Out of the Office

Hello all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town Monday and will not be able to get back to anyone until Tuesday afternoon. If you are waiting on an order, please be patient, things have been a little crazy with all of the after-holiday orders we received.

We will be out of town for a family funeral. I will not have my phone with me, but if you leave a message or send me an email I will get back to you on Tuesday.
